Two buyers, two campaigns

Orthodontic searches come from two kinds of people. Parents search for braces for a child and care about cost, payment plans and how close the office is. Adults search for clear aligners or discreet options and care about appearance, speed and price. One campaign written for both serves neither well.

Adults are a large share of the market. In the American Association of Orthodontists' 2019 Economics of Orthodontics survey, an estimated 1.61 million US adults were in treatment, and adults made up 33% of patients in the practices that responded.

Health ads have targeting limits. Google lists health as a sensitive category in its personalized advertising policy, which restricts remarketing lists, so orthodontic campaigns rely more on good keywords and landing pages than on chasing past visitors.

  • Parents

Braces for kids and teens, payment plans, the first free exam.

  • Adults

Clear aligners, ceramic braces, treatment time and price.

  • Brand searches

People searching for aligner brands near them, handled within Google's trademark rules.

What we manage in your account

Everything below is included in the management fee.

  1. Campaigns by treatment and office

Separate campaigns for braces, clear aligners and early treatment, each set to the radius around every office and to your opening hours. Budget follows the treatments you want more of.

  2. Search terms reviewed weekly

We read the searches that trigger your ads every week and block the ones that waste money, such as jobs, schools, retainer repairs at other offices or do-it-yourself aligners.

  3. Landing pages

A page for each campaign that answers the search: what the treatment is, who it suits, what the free consultation includes, payment options and a short booking form. No ad goes to your home page.

  4. Consultation tracking

Calls and form bookings tracked by campaign, with call recording where your office allows it. We send no patient details to Google, and we report cost per booked consultation.

  5. Ads and extensions

Ads written for parents and for adults separately, with location, call and offer extensions such as your free first exam. New ad versions are tested every month.

Not sure which of these you need first?

The free audit shows where you stand and what to fix first. You keep the written plan either way.

Who this is for

Orthodontists in Texas, solo or in groups, who want new patients they can measure.

  • Single-office orthodontic practices
  • Groups with several Texas offices
  • Practices growing adult aligner patients
  • New offices opening in a suburb
  • Practices unhappy with their current agency

The common mistake is paying for broad keywords such as 'braces' with no location or intent, and sending the click to the home page. Budget goes to students and job seekers, and the people who do want treatment leave.

Orthodontic Google Ads questions

How much should an orthodontist spend on Google Ads?

It depends on the size of your market and how many consultations you can take. The audit estimates a starting budget from the searches near your offices; we begin modestly and raise spend only where cost per consultation holds.

How much does Google Ads management cost?

Management is $597, $1,297 or $2,497 a month depending on offices and channels. Ad spend is separate and paid directly to Google.

See pricing

How fast will we see consultations?

Usually within the first weeks after the rebuild, once tracking is live. Cost per consultation then improves over the next two to three months as we tune the account.

Is there a long contract?

No. Agreements run month to month with 30 days' notice, and the Google Ads account belongs to you.

Do you have an office in Texas?

No. We are based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and manage Texas accounts remotely.

Can we bid on aligner brand names?

Often, within Google's trademark rules and the brand's own provider terms. We check both before writing ads that mention a brand.

Can you remarket to past website visitors?

Only within limits. Google treats health as a sensitive category and restricts remarketing lists for health services, so we rely on well-targeted search campaigns and landing pages instead.
